Armando and Esperanza
Armando and Esperanza both grew up at Orphanage Emmanuel. They both arrived at Emmanuel when they were 10 years old after difficult childhoods, where they met and later began dating. As adults, they pursued life outside of Emmanuel but later returned because of a desire to serve the Lord alongside David and Lydia. They have two children, Sally and Armando Jr.
Esperanza serves as one of the staff members for the teenage girls and also helps to make bread and tortillas in the bakery. Armando works with the teenage boys and is in charge of the work groups around campus.
Esperanza says that through David and Lydia and the opportunity she was given at Emmanuel, God was preparing her to have her own family and for a greater purpose. She wants all who read this to know that God is always with us and that God has a purpose for every single one of us and that He is real and is always by our side.
